Sleeping

We are sleeping a lot, Today we woke up at 10:45. Almost everyday, we sleep for ten or eleven hours. At first I blamed it on jet lag, That is always a good scape goat.  But now it's in the third week. I can't use that excuse anymore. So I think it is the language.

We watch TV in French, and if wanted to watch an English or a German station it wouldn't be possible. We have five stations and all in French. Then I go to the coffee shop and do an hour in my French book and another half hour trying to read a magazine or newspaper in French. By the time I'm finished, I'm thoroughly exhausted, at least mentally. I have forgotten how hard it is to learn a language well enough to be able to speak. I am far from that in French.
